Tight raw-cashew supply and strong processor buying supported prices. CAC later reported that disruptions to Tanzania’s harvest auctions tightened supply further, while Vietnamese and Indian buyers competed for raw nuts.
CAC noted that prices normally soften when Tanzania and Indonesia harvests enter the market during September–January, adding supply and easing pressure on raw-cashew prices.
CAC reporting later noted raw-cashew prices around US$1,350 per ton. Cambodia’s 2025 season was also described as strong, with high yields and more than one million tons exported. The 2025 source number is also an average wet-price range rather than a yearly peak range.
